This evening Lucy went and stayed with Gigi and Papi while my Mom and I attended a fundraiser dinner for the Tri-City Life Center. The woman who started the center over 20 years ago, Lois, used to be my Mom's boss when my Mom was just out of high school. My Mom and Lois' daughter were really good friends when they were younger. It was very nice and it was touching to see a couple of the women who have gotten help from Tri-City Life Center come up and talk about their situations.
