Napping... he managed to get the bib flipped up on his face... still sound asleep though. lol!
One Year Down...
I just realized that it has been a whole year since I've started this 365. That's hard to believe! I know there were times when I'd forget to take a picture, but for getting probably 300 pictures is still amazing to me. I'm going to try and keep posting pictures, but I'm sure that there will be many more days where I forget and don't get pictures. I'm just thrilled that I accomplished the whole year!

Henry got his first real bath today. His umbilical cord stump came off with a little coaxing on Saturday. Lucy was fascinated by his bath.

Today we went to Lily's baptism and celebrated with Rex, Shannon, Lily and their family afterwards.

Most days are all the same, we're adjusting to having a newborn at home. It's been really nice, especially with Joe off for 3 weeks. So while we have been taking pictures everyday, I'm not going to post them all seperately because everyday is pretty much the same, just the visitors vary.

We had a lot of visitors today. Grandma, Nana, Pap, Pastor Ron and his son Caleb came to see us. Lucy thought Henry was neat but she was definitely more interested in playing with her new toys.
Saturday 7/9/11
Sure enough, that not well feeling from yesterday... this morning my water broke and our little boy arrived at 3:40pm weighing in at a whooping 9lbs 7oz and 22 inches long!! Welcome Henry John!
Friday 7/8/11
I don't have a picture for today. I wasn't feeling well at all today so I asked Joe if he could work from home. He did and by the afternoon I was really just feeling icky and while I didn't *think* I was leaking fluid, I wanted to be sure so we called the OB's office and they told us to come in. I got to see my favorite OB who did an exam and said I wasn't leaking fluid and that she couldn't guess or not but sometimes women don't feel well right before they go into labor. Here's hoping!

Happy 4th of July!
Joe and I took Lucy down to our local fair that they have every year during the 4th of July week. Normally we would miss it because we like to go up to the Cottage but this year we stayed home because we were worried about me going into labor.
Sunday 7/3/11
Today we went up to the river and took a ride on Uncle Mike's boat. It was great. We got out and swam for a while and Lucy loved it!
Saturday 7/2/11
Lucy and Daddy took an afternoon nap. The couch slip cover was in the wash so I had a sheet on the couch. It was pretty amusing how they managed to get all tangled in it.
Thursday 6/30/11
Took a ride with Nana in her car today. Lucy looks like a little queen sitting in her car seat and holding onto the arm rests.
Sunday 6/26/11
Last night Lucy spent at Nana and Pap's house overnight. Another first since she started her diet. We were going to send her with everything pre-made and measured but then decided instead to just send all of her stuff with detailed instructions so that Nana and Pap could use this as a trial run for when we have the baby and they keep Lucy while we're in the hospital. The reason they kept Lucy was so that Joe and I could go to the Pirate's game. It was an awesome game! This guy on the other team was so funny. This was seriously his batting stance. It was the strangest thing to see and it looked like he was doing the "pee dance". lol!
Saturday 6/25/11
Today we took Lucy to the Zoo. We had free passes that Joe won a while ago that expire at the end of the month so we needed to use them. It was our first outing with Lucy after starting her new diet. It went ok, but she wasn't thrilled with the zoo at all. Actually she and I spent a lot of time sitting on benches (well, me on the bench, her in her stroller) waiting for Joe while he looked at the animals.
Thursday 6/23/11
We were told for the first few weeks on this diet that Lucy would be alot more tired than usual. She definitely has been. I feel bad that she's not feeling 100% but it's been nice for me at the end of my pregnancy to get cuddle time with my little girl and to get extra naps myself!
Monday 6/20/11
Today Lucy had to have follow up bloodwork done to check her levels and make sure they're staying up with the prescriptions we were sent home with. They wern't able to get the blood from the first arm so they had to stick both arms. But Lucy was really great and got some cute pink bandaids with white hearts that matched her shirt perfectly (it's hard to see them in the picture though).
