School's out for Lucy until mid June so the week days are going to be kind of boring for a little while.  But it'll be nice to have down time.  Today we babysat Aurora for a little while so Jeremy and Nichole could go on a daytime date. 

Monday, May 27

Memorial Day!  Better weather than yesterday but still didn't even reach 70.  I still tried out my kayak and it was great. 

Sunday, May 26

Casual morning then we headed up to the river.  Not great weather for Memorial Day weekend, but still fun times.  We played bag-bag and celebrated Laura's birthday. Finally got to have a campfire too!

Saturday, May 25

This morning we had a yard sale at Uncle Mike's house.  Then we went to church in the evening with Grandma.

Friday, May 24

Took Lucy to school.  Nichole, Henry and I had lunch at Olive Garden.  Then we went to Nichole's house to pick up her high chair and swing to try and sell tomorrow at our yard sale. 

Lucy opening her gift that she missed yesterday from "graduation".  It's a cute book that she likes reading.

Thursday, May 23

Today was a super busy day.  Body pump at 5:45am.  Dropped Henry off at Gigi and Pappy's house then took Lucy to therapy.  I went for a 2 mile walk/run while she was there then we came back to Gigi and Pappy's house for lunch.  Took Lucy to school.  Henry and I came home and got some chores done.  Picked Lucy up an hour early because of their "graduation" today.  Kids and I napped for a while then Grandma came home with Joe on the bus to watch the kids while we went to dinner at "1844" for Aunt Dee's birthday.

POTD is a strange one.  During other half of Lucy's therapy, after my run/walk, I played with my kindle fire and watched some "King of the Hill" on my Amazon Prime trial membership.

Wednesday, May 22

Henry had speech therapy in the morning and then we had knitting night at Great-Gram's house. Nana and Pap kept Henry so I could just take Lucy and it would be less stressful.  Here we are with Pap, waiting for Nana to come home from work.

Tuesday, May 21

Nice, hot day today!  We did lots of yard work and outside play.  Joe was off today from his concert last night. 

Monday, May 20

Got the swings put up today.  Kids loved it!

Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19

Saturday morning we did the Angelman Foundation walk with Nana and Dee.  Afterwards we hung out at home the rest of the day.

Sunday we went to church as usual and then had brunch at Grandma and Grandpa's house afterwards.

Friday, May 17

 Didn't do much today.  Lucy had school.  Henry napped in the morning and I had to wake him to take Lucy to school.  Felt really bad doing it, look how cute.

Thursday, May 16

Today Joe was off work.  We took Lucy to her therapy in the morning and then we went to Living Treasures Animal Park for the afternoon.  After that we met Nana, Pap, Uncle Adam and Aunt Dee for dinner at Smokey Bones to celebrate Joe's birthday.

Wednesday, May 15th

This morning Henry had speech therapy and then the rest of the day we had absolutely no plans.  I did some laundry, the kids played and I updated some blogs.  Tomorrow is going to be a big day.  I'm so looking forward to it!

Saturday, May 11th

Today my cousin Carrie was getting married in Georgia.  Nana, Pap, Great-Gram and Aunt Patty were there.  We probably could've made the trip but wanted to save the money and frankly, wanted to avoid the stress of it, especially with Lucy being so sick lately.  So instead we went to Joe's 2nd cousin's wedding that was quite a bit more local.

Friday, May 10th

Happy 4th Birthday to Lucy!



Presents in the morning, school in the afternoon and dinner at Red Robin in the evening where they sang Happy Birthday to Lucy.  She wasn't so sure about that, but absolutely LOVED her special cupcake.

Today was Lucy's Birthday party!  She had a great time and we have a ton of great pictures.  I chose just a couple to share.  One of the birthday girl to be expected and then one that I absolutely adore of her hugging a friend.

Today we spent the morning at home.  Joe took Lucy in the afternoon to Brady's birthday party and then later that evening we went to Uncle Mike and Emily's for Pat's 60th birthday party.  Then we had to go to pick up cupcakes for Lucy's birthday party the next day. 

Friday, May 3, 2013

Today Lucy had school.  While she was at school Henry and I ran some errands.  We got lunch and then sat on the lawn at school to eat it while we waited for Lucy to get out of school.



Later that evening I finished cleaning up the yard from tearing apart the shrubs out front and cleaned out under the porch.  We set up the sand table and the kids had a blast.

2013... a Year to Start Over

Wow, I've left this blog sit for over a year!  I can't believe that. 

I decided today that I'm going to start again, maybe not every day, but most days because I do take pics of the kids almost daily and I love being able to look at them.  So here's to another start....
