Tuesday 11-9-10

Today I finished up a knitting order. I'm really proud of my first sold Christmas stocking!



We met Nana after work and went shopping with her. We got some Christmas shopping done and were disappointed at Toys R Us. But we had a nice dinner at Bob Evans and then went to Target where Nana got Lucy a couple things for Christmas.

Monday 11-8-10

First thing this morning Lucy had her visit with the physical therapist. Then we just relaxed the rest of the day. Nana was supposed to come over in the evening to go for a walk but she wasn't feeling well and it worked out for us because I wasn't really feeling like going out for a walk. We did do our "photo shoot" for our Christmas card though. Obviously I'm not going to share the picture that made it onto the card, but I will share this one. Lucy kept crawling away while I was trying to take her picture and I snapped this one of her little toes.

Sunday 11-7-10

This morning we went to church. It had to be our fastest Sunday ever. Grandma was visiting her Mom in Butler so it was just Joe, Lucy, Uncle Nick and I for church and we didn't need to stop at the grocery store afterwards. The rest of the day was spent relaxing and catching up on some laundry.

Saturday 11-6-10

I have to appoligize for the quality of the photos this week. I've been terrible about taking my camera with me and most pictures from the week were taken with my blackberry.

First thing this morning Joe and I had dentist appointments. We didn't have anyone to watch Lucy so she had to come with us. I was so proud of her, she was so well behaved and sat on my lap the entire time without fussing or grabbing anything.

From there we went and had brunch at Bob Evan's (because what better way to follow up a dentist appointment than to eat a big breakfast/lunch complete with sugary hot cakes. lol).

Then from there we came home and Joe worked for a while, Lucy took a nice long nap and I got some knitting done. Now Daddy's watching a movie in the basement (horror - which is why he's alone). I'm taking a break from cleaning and Lucy's playing. Probably how the rest of the evening will go, cleaning, playing and lounging. But a good way to spend a chilly Saturday!

Friday 11-5-10

Today was a very fun day. Joe had to be at work early so he was out the door at the time he would normally be waking up. He said that he heard Lucy stirring around 6:45 but he just let her go because she wasn't standing in her crib or fussing. She ended up going back to sleep and sleeping in until 9am! We got up and got ready and went to Monroeville to do some shopping. We stopped to visit Nana at work and then went to Nana and Pap's house to visit Pap because he was done working for the week and hadn't gotten to see much of Lucy because he's been working a lot of night-term. He was so excited to see Lucy and it was so sweet to see him with her. He turned on the cd/radio in the kitchen and was dancing with her and he was getting such a kick out of the hugs and kisses she was giving him. It was wonderful.

Thursday 11-4-10

Today we spent at home mostly. I went to the gym with Nana in the evening and Lucy went to Gigi and Papi's house, but other than that we really didn't do much at all.

Wednesday 11-3-10

Today was a very exciting day. We had knitting club as usual at Gram's house in the evening but tonight's knitting club was extra special because Michele brought Faith to visit. Little Faith is only 13 days old today and it was so sweet to hold her! I tried to show her to Lucy while Gram had her but Lucy wasn't really interested until I was holding Faith. Then she wanted to know what I had and kept trying to touch her.
