Wacky Week

Tuesday (7/27) and Wednesday (7/28) were boring days. We didn't do much. The big excitement those 2 days was a walk on Wednesday to the post office. Thursday (7/29) and Friday (7/30) Joe had off of work. We were going to go to Idlewild one of those days, but the van has been in the shop all week. I guess that's the big downfall to being a one car family and having a mechanic who is friends with my Dad.

Thursday evening my Mom picked me up for the gym and Joe took some pictures of Lucy while they stayed home and played.

Friday evening we took a walk down to Glen's and had some ice cream.

Today is my parents' 30th wedding anniversary!

The van got dropped off at the mechanic's tonight. Hoping for quick and inexpensive repairs and inspection.

And I finally finished the knit pants that I feel like I've been working on forever! I had to tear the one leg back out twice because the yarn pattern just wouldn't work out. But I finally got it and lanolized them today and will get them shipped out on Wednesday!

July 24-25. Weekend

Our weekend was pretty uneventful. Saturday Joe had a doctor's appointment while I went to the gym and my Dad watched Lucy. Sunday afternoon my Mom had a home interior's party which was actually pretty fun. It was a "Luau" theme and everyone loved Lucy in her little hawaiian garb and flower in her hair. After the party we stayed for dinner at my parents' house with Gigi, Papi, Uncle Mike, Emily, Pat (Emily's Mom), Vicki & Ed. Joe and Uncle Nick showed up later. I forgot to take a picture though.

Busy Morning!

First thing this morning we got ready and went to Hillcrest Shopping Center. I had a bunch of coupon's for Joann Fabric's that I wanted to use before they expired. We stopped at the bank first, then to Joann's and then to Community Supermarket. It's nice that HSC has everything I needed all in one area! Community has the "car" shopping carts, so I put Lucy in one. It was her first time ever riding in one and she loved it! And it was pretty funny that since we were going so early on a weekday morning there were a lot of older people there who all seemed to get such a kick out of seeing Lucy's smiling face in that cute little car.

Lazy Week

I knew I wouldn't keep up with this everyday. Most days are pretty boring, especially during the week. Our usual day pretty much goes like this... Joe gets up at 7. Lucy wakes up by 8, she's changed and has a bottle. Joe leaves for work. Lucy and I eat breakfast. Lucy plays. Lucy takes a morning nap. Lunch. Play. Bottle. Afternoon nap. Then depending on the day I either go to the gym with my Mom (Lucy stays with Gigi and Papi) or on Wednesday's we go to Great-Gram's house for dinner and "knitting club" with Aunt Patty and cousin Holly. Monday we did absolutely nothing. Yesterday we did nothing and then I went to the gym with my Mom in the evening. Today is knitting club day. Not very exciting, but there you have it!

Lazy Weekend

Saturday and Sunday we did NOTHING! Well... almost nothing. It was nice to have a weekend with no plans. Saturday morning I got up and went to pick Lucy up from my parents' house where she spent the night before. Sunday morning we had church as usual. That was it. When we came home from church I had Joe take a picture of Joe in her pretty dress that was a hand-me-down from my Aunt from her step-granddaughter, Lillie.
