Monday 2-14-11
Happy Valentine's Day! This morning we had an appointment with the Physical Therapist to go get Lucy measured for orthotics for her feet to help her walk. Since that was in Monroeville, we stopped to visit Nana at work on the way home. Cathy was really nice and gave Lucy a cupcake to bring home and of course, Lucy loved it!

This morning we were up before dawn to take Lucy to Children's for her MRI. Her appt was at 7am and we had to be there by 6:15. We went through registration and everything and then the doctor came in, listened to her chest and said that we should reschedule because her lungs sounded raspy because she has a little bit of a cough. The worst part was that the next available date to reschedule on was March 8th.
We spent the rest of the day at home doing nothing. Here's my very tall and very smart little girl getting ahold of my mouse for my laptop and trying to use it.

Wednesday 2-9-11
Today is a nothing day. I can't decide what to do with myself. Gram cancelled knitting for tonight because she's got a cold and Lucy is cranky as can be. I can't tell if it's just because she's overly tired from last night at Nana and Pap's house, although Nana said she slept from 9pm til 7am when my Mom had to wake her up. Lucy then had breakfast here and laid back down from 8:45-9:30 and just went down for another nap from 11:30am-1pm. The only plans for today are to go to bed early because Lucy has her MRI tomorrow.
Tuesday 2-8-11
This afternoon I took Lucy over to Nana and Pap's house where she spent the night with them while Joe and I went to the Pen's game. Lucy had a great time at their house and they really wore her out. The game was fun to be at but disappointing overall. Half the team is out with injuries and they have a bunch of players from the minor league team called up so it's half new guys and they just didn't play well at all last night. They ended up losing 4-1 to the Columbus Blue Jackets. One neat thing about the game though was that RJ Umberger plays for Columbus and I went to elementary school, CCD and (some of) high school with him. I remember him being in and out in high school because he was away at hockey stuff all the time. But it's neat to say that I sort of grew up with him. He looks exactly the same and he did really well last night, I think he had at least 2 assists. The best part of the game was the fights. Hey, when you're losing 4-1 why the heck not, right?
